Well...It's been a while.

well...it has been a while. My life has been crazy busy and I haven't written lately. I wanted to hop on and share what I have been up too. my plan is to start posting weekly again. I have some great pictures to put up as well. As you know I live in the south so fall means football. I have been spending my weekends at football games and with friends. I will post alot of pictures of my friends and I tailgating. One of my favorite and proudest things Ive done in the past few weeks is Sunset Shenanigans 5k. This race was close to my heart because Josh Ose, a boy I grew up with and a great family friend passed away 3 years ago while fighting for our country. The race was to raise money for his scholarship. This was also my first 5K. I'm working on getting my time better. I came in 56 out of 130 people... not the best but I was proud. I plan to keep running and start doing more and more 5Ks. That is all for now I will post again after this week and weekend. Gods Speed and Hotty Toddy!!!

STL "So where is this arch everyone keeps telling me about?"

My trip to STL ended up being great. I flew out of little rock on Friday evening and was in st. Louis by 11 that night. the main purpose of my visit was to see my old friend from High school Kayla. She is in pharmacy school there. We had a weekend packed full of eating, drinking, and cardinals baseball. I woke up early Saturday for a run then the festivities began with bottomless Mimosas. i then went on a small shopping spree (ooops). That night was perhaps my favorite part of the trip. We met up with some of Kayla's friends and went to bar 360. It had a 360 view of the whole city. It was an awesome time where I made best friends with the bartender bullet. It is always a good idea to become best friends with the person who can give you free drinks. It was a great night. Sunday also started with a run (so proud) We then went to brunch at a great place called the Wallflower. They had amazing specialty drinks and great food. After that it was game time. We went to the cardinals cubs game where the card proceeded to win their only game of the series. (we brought the luck) We then followed up the evening with Chinese food and the movie 42. Monday morning came too soon and I was back to Little Rock. I cant wait to go back and have more adventures in STL.

Weekend Warrior

Well Folks... it was a weekend for the books. Not only was this weekend a long weekend for me but it was packed full of fun. Friday evening was the start of the festivities. myself and some co works decided to attend the AR Travelers baseball game. The game was a blast and our team won but it was way too hot. So the first order of business after the game was a quick wardrobe change. Then we all met back up at a bar in my neighborhood called the Fountain. We made sure to make it a fun filled night. The next morning came way too soon. I did not roll out of bed until 11:30 then it was off to the lake with my friends Lance, Katie, Skylar, and Abbey. We went to Skylar's home on beaver fork lake. His families home was beautiful and I made alot of new friends. Once the day was over I wanted nothing more then to climb in my bed.. which is what I did and slept like a baby until 8:00 the next morning. Sunday morning my friends Leigh , Shae, Kristen and I went to the early service at church. we attend new life church and they are currently doing a series called big screen. This is where they show different movie clips and relate it to the bible and life lessons. This particular Sunday they plays Walk the line. The story of Johnny Cash. I pretty much did not stop crying the entire service. I then spent the rest of the day cleaning. Monday, was another lake day. My friend Caleb and I both took off work from HP to have a fun lake day with friends. We had a blast and I even learned how to Wake Surf.(I'm now extremely sore) Over all it was a great weekend full of friends, fun, and memories. Until next time.

Leigh's B day B.Y.O.M

Last night was my good friend and neighbor Leigh's 25th birthday. We had a group of our friends over for beer, wine, and dinner. For dinner we did B.Y.O.M.(bring your own meat) We also had a great summer salad, sweet potatoes, strawberry/angle food cake Kabobs. However, even better than the food was the company. It was another beautiful summer night in the south.

Mississippi Bliss

This weekend me and my two best friends made the drive from Little Rock, Arkansas to my farm in Hernando, MS. It is a small town right outside of Memphis. We had an amazing weekend. Friday we went to a local restaurant on the square, Wendy City Grill. Had a few vodka tonics then went home to turn in early. The next morning we were up by 8:00 and at the farmers market. There are about 30 different vendors that set up shop around the court house and sell everything from produce to pottery. There were even free puppies. After that we figured it was time for Mimosas and the festivities began. Around noon we hit the pool along with some drinks and didn't leave until dinner was ready at 6:00. my mom made a delicious meal of shrimp, sweet potatoes, and asparagus. Then it was off to the local bar the spot for a fun night. We made tons of friends and had a great time. I always love going out to the farm because it is so relaxing. I also get to spend time with my uncle Tim and Aunt Teresa. However, it was nice getting to show my friends why I love MS so much. Our farm has around 200 acres of land and is beautiful. I will make sure to post pictures of the land soon. It was a weekend of Bliss in Mississippi.
